One Goal

The Atlanta community came together again this year, raising over $240,000 to end childhood cancer. Park’N Ticket is honored to sponsor the Kids Zone each year providing a fun space for this uplifting event.  We are so thankful for St. Jude and everyone who participated in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer event.

Everywhere you looked, superheroes, fairies, and wild animals were smiling, excited to show off their incredible face painting.  Our unbelievably talented artist always has a line of kids waiting patiently.  A photo op at our silly photo booth was a hit with everyone thrilled to capture a fun memory of the day.  Runners with wigs, glasses, and capes posed with their team mates and family members proudly posed.  Be sure to download your photo from our Facebook album from the day.

The big winner went home with a new Amazon Echo, his name being pulled from our raffles tickets.  Everyone who participated went home with free parking from Park’N Ticket airport parking as a THANK YOU!

100 Coats!

Park’N Ticket has a goal to collect 100 new children’s coats for Atlanta’s foster children this winter.  We are teaming up with Camp Horizon this year to have a new coat for these foster kids under the tree at their annual holiday party. We are giving 50 Frequent Parker Points, which can be used towards free parking, for each donated new or gently used children’s coat.  

The Camp Horizon coat drive will last the entire month of November.  We hope to have one hundred new coats for kids ages 8-18.   Camp Horizon is a local organization, which offers year-round programs to metro Atlanta’s youth in foster care.  They work to restore dignity and hope to children, teens and young adults who have been abused and neglected — empowering them to make good decisions and lead healthy, productive lives.

New and gently used clean children's coats can be dropped off at Park’N Ticket, located at 3945 Conley St. in College Park.  Coats can be dropped off any time and customers flying out can leave them with their shuttle driver.  We will add 50 points to your frequent parker card for each coat you donate.

We LOVE St. Jude!

The Atlanta St. Jude Walk Run event, held on Saturday September 24^th, raised over $270,000 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The day was filled with smiles from teams and individuals all with the same goal, to end childhood cancer.  Park’NTicket Airport Parking was thrilled to be a local sponsor hosting the Kids Zone for the 3^rd year.

Kids and adults found themselves getting silly and having fun at the Kids Zone.  We served up free cotton candy, raising energy levels for everyone making the 5k hike.  Everywhere you looked, you would see kids with super hero, animal, and princess faces!  We love to provide a local talented face painting artist who always does a phenomenal job.  Kids also received super hero sunglasses to show off their super hero powers!

The Park’N Ticket photo booth was the most popular spot in the Kids Zone, letting participants choose their props and get silly while capturing a fun memento from the day.  The theme was appropriately “super hero”, as each participant raised money for St. Jude, making them all our hero.  We even had a special visit from Superman and Batman, who graciously posed with the real heroes. 

We had so much fun giving away a free iPad Air 2.  The winning name was announced on stage by our Park’N Ticket general manager, Diane, with her granddaughter.  The event is very special for them as they remember their nephew, Ernie.
